Guys -

I know this has been covered in the past but I thought I would share this for those who don't know how to get that "bar room" stank out of your cues and cases.

I have done it before and this is what I do.

1.) Take all cues and shafts out of your case.
2.) Take a damp (not wet) to the inside where you reach inside your case, mostly to get the blue/green and other dust out and clean.
3.) Take a couple laundry dryer sheets and crumple them into balls and put in the top of case and then close lid.
4.) Let set at least overnight.
5.) Remove laundry sheets.
6.) Insure that the inside is dry (from damp cleaning).
7.) Your case will no longer smell like old cigarettes from a bar.

I have done this for over 10 years, probably closer to 20. I usually do it at least once a year to get the case back to smelling good.

Great tip Ken should I purchase a old used 'musty' case or one from a State who still allows smoking inside halls. No smoking inside any public establishment for about 25 years here in Cali.

Have a good weekend,

-Kat,

Is it true that only dirty sticks inside of it will make it stink?

No, think alot of it is because we dont close our cases after we get the cues out. But that stank is all through my clothes and my wife makes me take off my clothes in the garage before i can come into the house after a night of league pool.

So in a word, no, that stink gets everywhere and not only from sticks.
