hello, what did you think about these shafts. i have purchased one today and think they play better than the 314. maybe a little more deflection but they hit more like a solid shaft. what are your experiences with these shafts?

I have one of his old 'regular' shafts, and that hits pretty good.
A couple guys in our league have his cues with the D2 shaft, and they swear by them.
I heard or read somewhere that Dominiak used to provide Predator with thier wood back in the day.

I started playing with a Dominiak about 3 years ago. I bought one to keep in the trunk so I wouldn't have to keep running home to grab my cue. Put down the Joss of 20 years to make it the every day player after liking it so much.
Started with the regular shaft and switched to the D2. Love it!! I would agree that it is somewhere between a regular and low-deflection shaft. I even bought a matching wrapless break cue with a D2 and phenolic tip. I tried buying an OB2 for the Joss, but I still like the Dominiak.
