dominiak dominator shaft?

i know people have hit with it. Does it compare to a predator? Some input would be nice i am going to buy one of his cues and am wondering if i should spend the extra 75 or so to upgrade. Wondering if i should and if it is worth it. im also thinking a used predator sneaky pete for around 200. What do you think i should do?

Great Q for the $$

I have 4 Dominiak Qs, and they all hit great. I use the Dominator shaft which gives a hard, solid hit. Bill Dominiak says that most all people want and go for the Dominator shaft. He was actually considering dropping the regular shaft and offering only the Dominator. I have put Sniper tips on mine.

U cannot get a better playing Q for the $$.

Help. I just got a Dominator 2 and it has a lot of throw when using medium to hard speed. It is a 30" shaft. My shaft is tapered straight back to about 5" before the joint collar.
Any comments would be appreciated. Thanks.

If you are using a lot of english then cut way down on how far off center you are on the cue ball, you don't need that much anymore, pay more attention to your speed. The dominator 2 plays great and once you get used to it you will gain confidence.

Exactly, this sounds exactly like how my OB-2 shaft plays. It took a while to adapt, but the key for me was using about 1/2 tip less english than I would have with my 314. Worked like a charm.
