I received my new Ultra Pete a month ago. Shot a BCA Match with it that night. Got on the forum that night and was going to write a glowing review, but decided to give it more time. Time did not temper my enjoyment of this cue, this cue plays lights out. It ain't much to look at, no inlays, no points, no fancy wraps or ring work, just the bare bones essence of what a pool cue should be. From it's total radial construction, Uni-Loc Radial pin, 15" pro taper, and it's Kamuii Med tip. Hits solid but not harsh, super LD, and very controlable. For me to put my player of the last 10-12yrs. on the shelf, that's something. It's also nice to call a buisness and the man that answers the phone is The Man.
If anybody is in the market for a new leugue or bar cue, I suggest you give an Ultra Pete serious consideration. Don't look like much till you put it to a rack, then people seem to notice.
Regards, Brian.
