if you think an 80 year old rich white guy isn't a racist you're living in a bubble. any 80 year old, black or white, who grew up in the 40s, 50s, 60s is gonna be prejudiced or racist, theres many who aren't, but are we really that stupid to think otherwise. the news and sports networks are trying to make it out like its this huge deal, really?? now the sponsors are pulling out from the clippers, which is essentially punishing the players, not donald sterling. get over it, the commissioner should push him out, or make him sell the team, and lets move on with the playoffs. hes not gonna change his views of the world, hes 80 ****ing years old. get over it. the new generations will have to make the world more tolerable, not the past generations. its how we evolve, slowly, but hopefully for the better.

Frankly, I don't see the race problem getting any better. For the most part, black on white racism is on the rise and mostly tolerated. The news media paints it all to be one sided, ignoring any stories that do not promote their agenda. And, yes, this should be in NPR.

I am sure there are plenty of threads on this on NPR.
