Don't do this!

All done. I had to leave the SP vise marks in because I did not want to remove that much wood. The other came out better than I expected and I also removed less wood than expected. Where the dent were really deep, I used a scraping method to remove the chalk discoloration and then filled the flat spot and blended it to the rest. Obviously, I couldn't do much where he used the pliers but they look and play better than when they came in. That was the plan.

I do not know about any other manufacturers but Predator cues come with a warranty and care card that, last time I checked, states that the insert should be cleaned with a q-tip and alcohol. This is also considered a warranty issue that could have been fixed, no charge, by sending it to me, Predator, or any other authorized repair center.
