how can you spend $1000 on a new cue, have someone make it for you, aqnd play with it and say, you know, the turquoise is lovely, however, the balence stinks. here's how to get the ultimate cue, go to a cue store if there is such a thing, play with cues, or check out someones cue at the pool hall if you love it, offer to buy it on the spot, and trade it with your new $1000 cue. having some one make a new cue for you, and hoping you'll like it, is like being put into an arranged marriage, GOOD LUCK!!

arranged marriages

You know some arranged marriages have lasted longer and are more satisfying then those that have been made out of some notion of love. So I dont think you know what you are talking about. Match me up any time with a Gina or Tad.

If an arranged marriage is done properly with the correct RESEARCH, they tend to me quite successful. The same holds true for custom cues, you don't order one blind you do some RESEARCH and play with another example by that same cue maker. Then you know what you'll be getting.
