i was never really talking about a robbery at least not an armed one.in fact a lot of people that gamble are naive my friend! kind of my point for the post,to shed light.ill say this, if certain people would have been playing that final match then billy gets took off for 5 or 6k as a direct result of him talking on camera.

I see what you're saying... the old funny business.

I understand your concern, but if you are talking about Billy Incardona, let's just say I think he's been around the block a few times and can take care of himself just fine! Matter of fact, scoundrels beware! :D

I personally think TheActionReport.com staff provided a service to us pool enthusiasts and fans that has never been done before. With their innovative podcasts, video interviews, and live streaming of pool matches, they are filling a niche which is going to grow in popularity as time goes on. With the new-and-improved technology that keeps coming to the fore, it will only get bigger and better.

I, for one, truly enjoyed myself last evening and early this morning while I was sweating the matches. The live chat session was especially nice for those of us who know each other online. I have formed meaningful friendships over the years with many readers, most from this forum here at AzBilliards, and some of them, I have never even met in person. Yet, I feel somehow that I know them. I value this interaction which keeps me connected to pool. :)

So, in sum, TheActionReport.com is, in a word, COOL! :p

I have to second this. There haven't been many reports of Billy getting robbed lately (at least not in the last 50 years), so I would surmise he knows his way around. I feel sorry for the person or persons who "tries" to rob Billy. They may find themselves on the wrong side of terra firma. Billy has some very good connections if there are any problems. And they would most definitely come to his aid. Billy has benefited a lot of people over the years, and for some serious money I might add. They have a vested interest in keeping him healthy.

One on one, it might be a toss up between him and Danny. One quicker and one more deadly. Take your pick. I take vanilla.

Aren't certified checks made out to someone specific, and not blank checks? How's that going to work? Besides, certified checks only guarantee there is money in the account, and that it has been set aside for payment. If fraud or criminal activity is involved, they're very easy to stop payment on...

Certified checks don't bounce, and I seriously doubt you could give one to someone and phone the bank and "cancel" it. I think that's a great way to do business.
