So I've been looking at buying a new playing cue for months now and I keep considering and reconsidering new makers or productin companies and I've recently found Downey custom cues. I'm sure someone has stated before how outstanding these cues are but I'm curious about the joint, is it a standard radial joint? If it's unique and I want a new or different shaft then I would have to get one by Downey.

I've had my Downey cue now for 10-11 years. Best cue I have ever had.
I think mine is a regular radial pin because I have tried other radial shafts with my cue.
I also had Steve Crislip ( Local Cue Maker In Northern Ohio ) make a somewhat matching break cue for me with a radial pin and those shafts work on my Downey as well. Hope that helps
