DPK or Burton Spain Book

i understand that Burton Spain, and Kersenbrock wrote a treatise on the art of cuemaking ... i am looking for a copy, even a photocopy if i cant find the orginal for a fren. Let me know if u know the whereabouts of one of these ... or are parting with one.

I have both but they are nothing special, in fact the one by Kersenbrock is completely nuts in places. Interesting but not of any real value although the Kersenbrock book has the design for the saw machine, but that is common knowledge today.
 
any way i can get copy from u? if u dont want to part with the original, i dont mind a photocopy.. or i can trade some pool DVDs off it :P

Their just sort of collectable and interesting but your not going to learn cuemaking from them. You can read how Kersenbrock talks to wood and thinks it's listning. You can get the book That Hightower offers and there is good information in there.

Cue books

I have booth books also. Maybe between the two of us we could make a complete kersenbrock book as mine seems like it could be better.
 
I have Spain's making blanks book/journal.
Kinda nutty and outdated but a good read.
I heard DPK's book is even nuttier.

Nobody here is willing to part with a original, a copy or even a scanned copy or .pdf of both these books? i am getting this as a gift to my friend, he is the aspiring cuemaker not me, and he always curious how it is between the covers?

i have over 200+ DVDs so if willing i can trade ... :)

DK's book I believe was like $300. when he was selling it and is somewhat of a collectable today. I have no interest in selling and certainly no interest in photo copying what is his copyrighted work. Spains book I got for nothing but still have no interest in selling. I am sorry I thought you were just asking if the books even existed.
