Here is my favorite of all the cues I have had over the years. I know a few of you have played with it, so feel free to chime in.

1993 Richard Harris - 0113 - 9301

This cue was built for Danny Harriman (so I have been told)
BEM Forearm, Ivory Box inlays in the Butt, Ivory and Micarta Ring work, Original Micarta Ferrules, Both shafts are 13mm and play very very well. Monitor Lizard wrap was done by an ACA Member. (I personally picked through a huge selection of wraps and found this gem)

Someone was nice enough to tell me that the pictures were set to private view only. I have now fixed that. There are 14 non professional photos.

Enjoy

nice cue, everything is great, shaft wood looks good, thats my kund of cue right there, not to fancy but superhigh quality.

Thanks Bro,

I have always been a fan of simple but elegant cues. I know it doesn't compare to the elaborate designs that alot of member share, but I like it and I promise you it plays a whole lot better than I do.

Has anyone seen or held a Bluegrass dated earlier with Ivory inlays? I am guessing that this has to be one of the first ones. Did he start making cues in 1992?

Richard starting making cues back in 1990. A great example of Richard's early work.

No, not a dealer of Richards, but I get to see and touch many more of his cues than his dealers do!;)

I am jealous!

Kinda surprised that this cue got so little attention. So many Bluegrass fans on here and this one is pretty rare. Do you think if I emailed Richard, that he would remember whether or not this was his first Ivory box inlay cue? I have also never seen these rings before. Never seen Micarta/Ivory rings on any cue for that matter

Richard keeps a pretty good record of the cues he makes. Not too sure about his record keeping early on, but he tends to remember certain rare cues and designs he has made over the years. Shoot him an email, it cannot hurt right?

Trade offers

This post brought some interesting trade offers

If you do want to make an offer on the cue, cash is king. Trades considered will be PJ's or Sneaky's by Harris, SugarTree, Zyler, Howard, and maybe a few others. All trades must include a nice amount of cash, otherwise there is no reason to get rid of the best playing cue I have ever owned.

If you have something interesting, let me know
