Re: v10‘s light green color: Turns out, It DOES show up well enough on standard green cloth to enable easy clean-up of miscue marks.
Well the thing boils down to personal choice $20.00/ Cube v/s $5.00/Dozen.

Some of that only matters on a home table. Go to a tournament and guys use all sorts of chalk so a clean cue ball is out the window.

Well if you got to most of the supply places like Seyberts, or. Most offer like 10 plus brands of Chalk, reason is people have their favorites.

Well the internet, is great vehicle for hyping products.
Not sure if Chalk from Finland is worth $20.00/cube? But if people are buying it must be to those buyers.

Recall when Kamui first came out, it was the holy grail, would not have to chalk frequently.Stuff was like Lip Balm, and messy.
I got a V10 cube off amazon for $27 delivered. So far I really like it. I'm a masters guy, and it applies and plays just like masters but way cleaner. Seems to work well with all my types of tips from super soft to a samsara break tip.
A friend and I played a 3 hour session Saturday after cleaning the balls/table using just V10. At the end the (duramith measles) CB was basically the same as it came out of the bucket polisher. With masters it'd be covered in light spots.
I don't spend a lot on pool in general, even with Taom it's still probably my cheapest hobby ever. My only pool purchases in the last year have been a new glove and a cube of chalk.
In my testing so far V10 only gets you maybe 20% more shots if you don't want to chalk. It's basically masters that doesn't stick to the CB as well. Cleanness is really the only main difference I see.
What's painful is cleaning.
