I am looking for a couple arbors for my drill. i have a homemade set up for tips and shaft cleaning. i need an arbor for 3/8-10 and the quick release joints such as a players or J&J. and a 5/16-18. its just a regular size chuck on the drill. not sure what size that is. where would be the cheapest place to look?
thanks,
Jay

Jay,
Just use some short lengths of the pins you listed. What is the capacity of your drill chuck ? Atlas, and others sell sets with a 3/8 shank.

thats what i have been doing with 5/16-18 pin but i have no clue what the quick release players + J&J pin is. thats the one im mainly looking for but figured it would be good to get a few others while im at it.

www.cuesmith.com on the lathe supplies page has "Lathe Pins" For spinning shafts in a 3/8" drill. Five common sizes are $50 for the set.

quality stuff from this guy. you can't do any better, regardless of how much more you spend elsewhere. JMHO...d :)

thanks for the suggestions guys. i went to the site and was wondering, what is the size for the quick release like J&J uses on their J/B cues? im not determined to buy the whole set yet so if i decide to just get a couple, is it the Radius/Ball Screw or the Cutech/Scorpion Style? thanks again for the input,
Jay
