Hi Neil. What is the minimum bore diameter of these carbide tools? Are these the same as the tool in the video that you used to "drill" out the piece chucked up in the videos? Is that maple? I have snapped carbide too many times to trust using that to drill something out the way you did in the video.

Also, it looks like the 3 inch as more end relief than the 6 inch, is that true?

They look nice.

Minimum bore for the first 3/4 inch is 6 mm (.236 inch)
I set them up on a slight angle to give clearance down the leading edge side, making the min bore size 6.8 mm (.267).
They are fine for all woods, the video example is Maple.
I use them for aluminum as well ,I initially drill very close to minimum size to support the tool, and peck at the 1st cut to clear the chips.
I am making some packers this week to set the tool into a Taig std holder.
Alternatively you could use just a 3.1 mm shim.
The relief and angles are the same for the 3 and 6 inch tool.

Thanks Neil.
This looks like the best boring bar I've seen.
I hope Dick got his too.

Mine came on Monday I believe. I put it to work on Tuesday night as I made a adapter to mount a different chuck on the back of one of my lathes. I drilled a .375hole through a 4.5" X 2.5" cylinder of aluminum. I turned the outside down to 2.5" and then turned the other end down to 1.75. I bored one end out to 1.397 and the other end out to 1.87 so that both ends would be a shrink fit. I then heated the chuck end up and inserted the chuck so that when it cooled it was locked on. I then trued the jaws up. After this I went to run something through it and that is when I saw that the center hadn't been bored out so that a dowel could pass through. My standard boring bars weren't long enough or to big in diameter to be used in the small 3/8 hole I had initially drilled. I didn't want to remove the chuck as the jaws had already been trued. I remembered this little, long boring bar and it reached plenty deep enough to get the job done.
I also used it a couple of hours ago to bore a straight hole so as to put 3/8-10 threads in a shaft. Very handy. I have a boring bar that is 5/16 minimum 4" long that has a tool steel shaft so it is not as stiff as this one plus this one is just slightly over .250 so it is easy to bore a 5/16 hole deep enough for a pin installation. I'm happy!

I just bored a 5/16 hole 3" deep to test it too Dick.
Definitely joint pin installation accurate!
