drill for checking alignment/center hit

Nice drill gator. I'm actually looking forward to trying it.

Wolf: Which pros look at cue ball last? I can't believe it. I've tried it before just for fun, and it feels like trying to piss in the dark without getting the seat wet.
 
imo consistent center ball is virtually impossible. sure Efren may have been testing his stroke but any good player may do this but it's to make sure their stroke is somewhat "true" not for making sure they're not using unwanted english, then again it sounds like the same thing, but anyway,.. most great players use english to their advantage. if the odds say that you're not going to hit absolutely perfect in the center of the cue ball (which they do), why not use this to your advantage. once you know the characteristics of the cue you play with it actually is an advantage for you to use some sort of english on almost every shot the way most all great players do. it eliminates the odds of "accidental" spin applied to the cue ball and can greatly enhance your game.
