Drills!

Anyone know of a good drill book or video? thanks

Here are four I can recommend:

1.) Pro Skills Drill Volumes 1 and 2. Each Volume consists of a spiral bound book of drills and a companion DVD.

2.) Byrnes Volume 5 Power Pool Workout (now available in DVD).

3.) Black Belt Billiards by Steve Campana (BCA Instructor). This is available in spiral bound book form only. Lots of drills of varying difficulty, nicely diagrammed and organized by skill level from "white belt" to "black belt".

4.) Bob Henning's Pro-Book DVD's and book.

Black Belt Billiards is one of the better ones out there. You grade yourself on the drills to keep track of your progress (very important) and the drills increase in difficulty as you go along.

But its like any other book on improving your play, if you dont actually go to the table and put some serious work into what you read it wont do you any good :)

Bob Hennings "Pro Book"

Ray Martin's "99 Critical Shots"

Bert Kinnister's Video, "the Ladder" is great

Byrne's Power Pool Workout is OK too.

Ceebee, would you mind telling me what "The Ladder" is all about? Is it in anyway related to "The 9 Pointed Star?"

This best drill book on the market is joe tuckers garenteed improvement. By this book I think its only 10 dollars and worth the price.

Bert Kinister's Video, "The Ladder" is very very good practice for learning to move the Cue ball back & forth or up & down the table. It is dynamite practice for any skill level above intermediate beginners. The MIGHTY X is too...
