I have the jet machine and am happy with it. I however like the design of the other one better. It is set up more like a planer with support on both sides of the drum. I really have no accuracy issues with mine so I would say which ever is easiest to get ahold of. Chris.

Either will do what you need for cue making with ease.

The grizzly is 12" width, the jet is 10. Planning to sand anything that wide?

Personally, I'd like to see a high-precision ~6" wide model...

The Grizzly, suported on both sides (as mentioned) is cool.

But, the Jet has a 5" drum as opposed to the grizly's 4. That means with really oily wood types, the drum will load faster (if it is a drum and not a belt running over the drum). Point being, more surface area means less belt/drum changes.

First hand account to the accuracy of the jet is good as gold.

Variable feed speed on both; jet is faster (15) but I seriously doubt you will feed pieces that fast anyway, so either one id fine there.

Basically, it seems to come down to price. Don't forget to factor in shipping!
