I belive it is a woodpecker. A line of Jacoby cues. veary good hitting cue Iplayed a couple of racks with his cue.

Yep, it's a Woodpecker. Corey was wearing a shirt with the Woodpecker Cues emblem on it at the Open, and he was excited about his new line of cues.

He was showing his cue stick to a few of the other players at the Open and said that he designed it himself. The cue is actually quite beautiful.

I also noticed in a Professor Q-Ball newspaper an advertisement about Danny "Kid Delicious" Basavich and his new line of cues (limited edition and signed), instructional videotapes, and lessons upon request.

In this day and age when it is just about impossible to make a profit shooting pool in tournaments because of the huge expense related to each tournament, it is nice to see these young players coming out with their own products. There can only be one winner at each tournament, and unless you share a room and travel expenses with another player or two, the monies expended to attend multiple tournaments every month is huge.

I truly wish Corey and Danny the very best! They are on the right track (IMO)! :)

I talked to Corey at the MidWest Expo in Chicago last month about his cues. He said he desined his new line of cues made by Jacoby. The cues look great and of course come from a very reputable cue builder. I then talked to Brandon Jacoby about Corey's cue line. He said that Corey contacted Jacoby to make a line of cues for him, but he wanted to design them. So Corey made a trip to Jacoby's shop and now you can see the results of his visit!
