Dufferin conversion cost, suggestions...

I own 4 or 5 Dufferin house cues that have seen better days, I inherited them when I purchased my GC1 a couple years ago.

They all have lots of bumps and bruises, but all seem solid still, mostly straight.

What should I expect to pay to have them cleaned up & converted to 2 pieces cues with new maple shafts? Would it even be cost effective vs going out and buying a few Players sneakys to play with?

I appreciate any input. Thanks!

I am not a cue maker but the cost to convert them would be way more than a Players sneaky.
Just a new shaft would be more than the Players sneaky.

I had Chad Carter do a few conversions and they turned out very nice! Yes, it will be more than a players sneaky, but in my opinion well worth the money.

I had 2 Duff's converted about 10 years ago. Joint collars, butt cap, taper butt, shaft. I think it was over or around $150. I did not like the way one came out so I sent it Proficient Billiards and paid again. I went way overboard but have 2 beauty converted Duffs. It's only worth it if you want it...

Expect to pay about as much as a plain fullsplice or merry widow cue. Working on cues at final dimension always takes a lot of time in setup, striping old finish etc.
