Dufferin conversion

Hi guys, found a good deal on a Made in Canada dufferin 1 piece cue. How much would i be looking at to have a conversion done. I know people like to do conversions on these. Also [about to show my ignorance] what exactly is done on a conversion? Is it just making it into a 2 piece? the cue i purchased has no points, but i am assuming it can stay this way. thanks for the knowledge, and an idea on price.

If I'm not mistaken the cue you have is one thats already 2pc. but permanantly attached. Is 3/4 of the cue same wood as the shaft? Then much darker on the bottom section...no points...just 2 pieces of wood screwed together. If yes then thats the one I'm thinking of...it can be done....but balance is real funny. Better to chose a nice 4pt Duff. for a conversion if thats what you are interested in. I have several. I'm about to finish a nice one. The Duff you have now has a huge piece of metal connecting the 2 woods. 4pt Duffs are not like that. I'd put the one you have now on the wall...for when guest need to borrow a cue.
