Duplicating new 860 cloth speed

A friend of mine played at Derby city last year and said that the new Simonis 860 played quite fast. It is said that one of the problems players new to pro events have is adjusting to the speed of the cloth. New cloth initially starts out fast and then settles into a bit slower speed after it wears in. Simonis 860 seems to be the standard.
Is there a cloth available that after wearing in is nearly the same speed as new 860? Practicing on such a cloth might help a player adjust to tournament conditions.
Any suggestions or ideas?

The tighter it's stretched the faster it runs, correct?
So would the "broken in" Simonis 760 with a normal amount of stretch approximate new tightly stretched 860hr?
Again, I'm trying to duplicate tournament conditions.
