I'm curious what kind of dust collector cue makers are using. What is a good size collector to use for a shop of about 500sq'. I have been looking at the Delta AP400 model, 1hp, 650cfm.

Any help is appreciated, Thanks,
Zim

That's another model I was looking at but haven't seen a price listed yet. What do they cost?

Dust collection systems.

Spend every penny you can afford too. I have a older Oneida cyclone that works good in my 600 sq ft shop. I wish I had two of them. Never can have two much suction. All the high speed cutters seem to want to throw stuff everywhere. Also get the smallest micron filter. It's the little stuff that will kill you.

You are right --- maybe more than you can afford. Check out United Air Systems - found them on the internet. They will work with you on size of shop, how many machines you will hook up on the system, etc so you get the right size system. Will then ship it to you - my wife and I hooked up the whole thing - since I am in the middle of a hay field in "grizzly alley" (the locals name for where I live) I couldn't call someone up to install it.
