Jean Paul de Bruijn, a long-time specialist in cushioning, achieved his 15th band-shock title. Jean Paul started extremely difficult on the first day, but was unapproachable on the final day: three games of 100 in 3, 3 and 2 innings respectively. A average of 37.50 in one day! Highlights were 87 from acquit against Micha van Bochem, and 83 from acquit against Sam van Etten.
