Dynaspheres 6 black "rotor" cue ball?

Does anyone know if these are from the same Chinese plant where Dynaspheres gets their ball sets manufactured?

Yes. That's the Platinum set. Whether or not that cb is made by Dynasphere i have no clue.

I was also looking for a Dynaspheres Platinum cue ball and ordered the cue ball you linked from eBay. The one I ordered is more brown/yellow in color than my Dynaspheres Bronze cue ball. The finish is also not as shiny. While they are very close in size, within 0.005 inches on my not so fancy micrometer, my Dynaspheres Bronze cue ball weighs 168 grams compared to 164 grams for the eBay cue ball

GDMSport recently told me that DS cueballs will be available sometime in '24. All they said, no specifics or prices. I'd bet those balls are knockoffs and not made by XinBing(actual maker of DS balls).

Thanks DC, this is the exact info I was looking for, given the darker more yellow color and the notable ~5 grams difference, these seem like they are knockoffs.
