I have never seen or watched a pro pool player in person. Last month, the two main pool halls hosted efern. One pool hall was in Lakewood, and the other right by my house, aloha billiards. I thought about going, didnt know if it was free or not. But i didnt go, and later found out it was like 30 or 40 bucks just to get in!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Anything extra, picture, autograph, signed cue ball, was extra. And to play efern, i think it was 100 dollars a game. And i watched some of the games that he played against the spectators on you tube, and efren didnt talk to much.

So now earl is coming in august, and i would love to go. Don’t have the balls to play him a game of 9 ball in front of everyone. No way.

But I’m a senior, on a small pension, how much will a ticket be just to get inside the pool room????? What’s a good price??
20 dollars? 30 dollars? 40 dollars just to get in to see earl???

I have no problem at all with the senior or any pro making money. And i love earl. What would you pay???????????

When Earl and Shane were in Billings Mt I drove the 150 miles one way on less than ideal road conditions to lose to Shane and watch Earl give a lesson to a young fella and visited briefly afterwards .
I to am on a limited budget but I'd do it again in a heart beat whatever the cost .

Haven't had to pay to see a pro. Have paid to play a few.
If you've never seen them in person, you should do it at least once.
I would probably pay $20 to get in the door if they were doing a show.
With Earl you might want to make sure he shows up before you head out if it's going to be a long drive back and forth.
I'd bring $100 for food, possibly a game or signed memorabilia, and if they charge to get in the door.

Efren doesn't talk much at all. What would you like him to say?
If you want conversation, Earl will talk your ears off.
Consider that this is Earl's income, and pretty much his only income besides lessons.

To see him I'd pay $50, no desire to play him a game unless it was in a tournament.

I did a clinic with Earl. He is a Fantastic guy, don't let the haters persuade you otherwise. He gives good pointers, shows some cool shots, and tells some great stories. I think I paid 130 x 2 (the girlfriend went). He signs stuff and takes pictures for free, has some swag you can buy.

Definitely pay the $20 bucks to play a game with him, He's a good guy, and if he sees your not a strong player, he isn't going to just run you over.

JUST DO IT!!!!

Edit: The pics are of Earl dragging an Armor All wipe on the table to slicken it up as tables in South Florida are super slow, Earls beat up jalopy of a cue:ROFLMAO:. My other pics won't load as they are too big

I hear he's having a class for the kids though.
Gonna teach 'em to whine, bitch, moan.
Then he'll teach then "the Look".

Never paid to see any pros, just saw them all hanging out at Griff's. But my friend played Shane a rack and tipped him for it and a picture.

I personally would not pay to just watch a pro at an exhibition

many of em will teach you privately at inexpensive rates and/or gamble with you for little money, these two things I've done many times and will continue with

same... I walked in there one random night and about 10+ champions were hanging out, some in action, others just chatting. Chang started practicing on the table next to me 😳
