To appeal to the masses pool needs better commentating; Earl included. Just because you used to play is irrelevant. Jordan and Bird couldn't excell while wearing suits. Joe Rogan's commentary could make the game mainstream. Know the players of the match and highlights of previous achievements could help build players brand and alliance.

I've seen too many matches where the first words out the commentators mouth was " I don't know anything about this player." Do your homework. Mention his sponsors.

I for one definitely like the 24 second shot clock especially for modern day 9 ball. And that goes for the countless extensions as well, possibly one extension per match. Watching nine ball today at the professional level is akin to watching paint dry in my opinion.

It's fun watching lower level players shoot nine ball. U never know what's gonna happen. It's too easy for pros tho....and boring I agree. I say make the rules like seven ball call a side for the nine and Play the game on a 10ft snooker table
