Earl Strickland is currently in Norway, more specific a very small place called Reisa in the northern parts of Norway

Some info in english about the tournament here: http://www.reisaopen.no/news/item/1-reisa-open-first-news.

and on facebook (in Norwegian, but there is always google translate).https://www.facebook.com/groups/498717846950723/

I am guessing that this is about as far north as Earl has ever been, and in addition to the small tournament with modest prize money, there are many activities going on in the five or so days this is taking place:

- Instructions with Earl
- Juniortournament
- Challenge matches

Non pool activities are also a big part of this happening - like Riverboat trips, fishing and in general experience the fantastic scenery in the northern part of Norway - including the midnight sun. If Earl is not being eaten by the many mosquitoes i am sure he will remember this trip as something very unique.

Your avatar is creeping me out. And I like eyes but why with the west Nile virus mosquito?

I was just thinking about earl yesterday wondering where the heck he was.....I would have never guessed Norway! good for him and hope that the experience for him will be memorable in a good way...I have seen some shooters from Norway and they shoot very good....

Is "THE POLITICIAN" going to be Earl's official greeter?

I'm not surprised that Earl is approaching the North Pole...
....after all, he's got a magnetic personality.

But I think Roy is avoiding this event on purpose......
....Earl will try to get him to legislate 'no jump cues' for all of Norway.

Does anybody know if he is planning on returning to the States in time to play in the 10 ball and 8 ball tournaments in Vegas?
