Earl's Glove

Hey.....

If I could play like him, I'd wrap up like a freakin' Mummy. If that's what it took.

The only problem with that would be that, at least based on his tournament record, he was playing better when he didn't look like Inspector Gadget. ;) Apparently all that wrapping up and wearing gloves isn't what it takes. I just always thought all of his gear was worn to satisfy sponsorship agreements. I had no idea he did this stuff on his own! :D

Actually, the glove may have a "STIFFENER" sewn into the Back-Hand part of the glove. That would eliminate any possible "wrist torquing" during the shot. I experimented with that back in 2001, it works very well, especially if you have accidentally included that nasty habit into your stroke. A few weeks with one of those gloves, that TRAIN your wrist "through the stroke" do work. Don't be surprised to see them marketed some day....

Lets see.... we have the left hand glove, now we got the right hand glove, we have comfy some shoes, next we'll have a shooting arm "pivoting brace" for the shooting arm elbow, then next we'll have crosshairs on our Automatic Cues. We'll all look like robots, but we'll all play well. I love this game....

I had to play this guy the other night who had no hand. He had one of those claw things for his back hand. One thing I notice was that he never twisted his wrist (kinda funny but not really) since he didn't have one. He shot pretty straight for a handicapped guy. He would have beat me had it not been for his poor shot selection.
