This is Predator's very first Limited Edition #1 by JOSS from 1995, the very first year of their production. If you look at the joint area (unless someone has re-faced the stainless steel area and removed the stamping and engraving) you should be able to see with a powerful magnifying glass the word PREDATOR then 1LE 95 - and a three digit number signifying its production number. Look at mine and you will see what I'm referring to.
Also, are the ferrules 1" in length??? Do they have the 314 on them by the joint collar?? COunt how many splices going around you can see. They made several attempts with 6 pie, and 12 pie splicing before settling on 10.

I have a cherry #17 of the LE 1 with two nice American made pre-cat 314 shafts that haven't sold for $400 shipped and insured. So... there's your starting point. Good luck!! Not as much of a demand as the fancy made JOSS cue butts for the early Predator line of cues.

any idea how many were made in this 1st limited edition???....mine says 1LE-061
Not meant as a joke, however we know they made at least 61 of them. I've seen or played with (3) LE 1's in 20 years time. Very plain cue, well built by JOSS and a solid player. If the shafts are clean and dent free, and over 12.5 mm on ferrule, and they are the original 314 pre-cat shafts the cue came with you can figure the shafts are worth at least $150 a piece on eBay. I would think there's a market for the JOSS butt on eBay also.
