well now that i have came to terms that i wont ever get my money back for this crap cue i figured last night i would chalk it and see how it played chalked. It played awful, very hollow tinny sound when you strike a ball and the first time i broke with it the ferrul exploded off of it. I got to say, this was one HOT BUY, just letting you all know that it may not be a good investment to purchase a cue or anything from Mr. Eason, it has been almost 6 months, i have actually quit keeping track of the time, so now that i have eaten my money on it i think i may just turn it into a arrow since deer season just started.
Just posting a cue review, (playability was the least of this cues problems)
 
Sorry to hear about your bad deal. I am not familiar with that name, is it a new guy? Ebay cue?

All I will say about this is that I got 3 diff. storys about the cue and ask you to send it to me to see it. The last thing I heard from you is that it wouldnt screw together ,now it went together and you played with it .You also said you played with it b4 you said it wouldnt go together. I would still like to see it myself as I ask for 3mo. ago. No reply from you said to me evverything was fine with it and so I forgot about it.You also had my phone # but never called are email anymore. Sorry for your problem but I dont know what to think about the cue after the amount of time its been that I heard from you. I will not post are comment about this thread and more. Jeff Eason

Nothing much to add, just thought I'd share some reading. Can't figure out how Carters name got brought up, seemed ridiculous since Chad stands behind his product. Know that from personal experience, on a used cue. Chad fixed a small problem, on his dime, for no other reason than it bugged him that it wasn't perfect. Probably was one of the best examples of customer service I've ever dealt with.

Chad the fact that I remember two years later goes to how impressed I was with your customer service. Was beyond anything I had hoped when I initially contacted you (at the time think I was stoned on pain killers, so probably made little sense as well).

Can't for the life of me figure out how your name got dropped into someone elses problem, other than you were the first person they could think of that made cues. Just poor taste to me.

worst cue i have eva played with was made by this so called cue maker...
a total piece of crap.sorry mr eason but please consider a new line of work,cue making aint ur cupa tea ......
dont mean 2 b disrespectful just being honest after trying out 1 of ur cues........ my humble but sincere opinion

Sorry to start anything with Carter, i do not know how that came up, All my post was for was to inform people about the quality of craftmenship of this cue, And the troubles i have had dealing with the maker. I have never received a pm about sending the cue back to let him see it and why would i do that with a person that i have been having trouble with,

I took the cue to a very respectible cue builder and he informed me that this cue should have never been relaesed to say it nicely.

He actually pointed other things in the cue , like cracks in the butt, how it was made, and other flaws, I am not trying to offend anyone on here except the cue maker for the lies i have been told, about getting my money back,
So if you have a problem pm me and let me know and will talk with ya but Jeff if you have a problem Call me you have my number if not go back in your pms and find it i gave it to you a dozen times, if you wont call me then quit typeing and fumbling around my words from past posts or emails and be a man and admit your fault.
When some one calls me a liar i do take offense to it and u called me a liar, So like i sadi call me or meet me and we can solve this.

Post your the emails and mine arent worth it to me .When some1 starts calling some1 out it show the type of person they are . Never the less I do think you have alot to offer to billards. Jeff

I just couldn't let it go, with it happening three times in the same post. The word you're looking for instead of 'are' is 'or', sir. Your posts will appear much more respectable if you attempt to use the language correctly. As it is, I had to re-read some of your stuff to understand what you were trying to say :(.

Good luck with the cuemaking, sounds like you could use a little more practice....

Jeff all i was doing was warning people, cause i know what a dollar is worth to me and probably the same to you.
I hate throwing them away, that is why the post was put on here
This weekend i dropped the cue off at a cue builders shop to let him toy with it and start the cue over,

I will never start a post from this point on about this situation, but if i am asked about my dealing with you privately from someone i will answer honestly,

So you can bash me or call me out on things but only you and I know what was said between each other

So thank you for replying to this post and hope the best for you. But like we have all said please make sure what you ship out is a good cue cause if it is not it will come back to get you, and that is try with every line of work, and i am sure others will agree

OK, I'm probably going to get flamed for this, but c'mon, how "old" can you be, that you can't even use proper English or grammar?!?!? :confused: Both of you write like an 8 year old child who's failing English in 4th grade! :rolleyes: I had to re-read most of the posts in this thread 3 or 4 times to try and decipher what was being said. :barf:
