I cant beleive that some people still deal with this guy. there are som many other cuemakers who make great cues for only a little bit more money. I remember his cues selling for 200 or so. for 2-300 you can find some great plane janes or sneakies that will have no issues. and if they do, the cuemaker would definitely provide better repair service than this guy.

In my situation with him, it was an ebay purchase. I like to buy a lesser known cuemaker once in a while, if the price is right, and sometimes you get lucky. That's why I purchased one. Right now on ebay I'm 1 for 1. The good find was a guy from your neck of the woods-Burns....Tony Matthews. WOW what a cue!!!! It doesn't hurt that it was an absolute steal.
With that being my first try at a lesser know cuemaker, I figured I would try the Eason. The cue I rec'd was one of his first ones and it wasn't too bad, but then everything went downhill from there. Lie after Lie after Lie!!!
I can't believe after everything that has been written about him Johnny wants to give him his trust. I guess some of us need to learn the hard way, I know I learned my lesson.

I agree with you, its great to try out cues from the new guys. I meant if someone is unknown and has cues for a good price and theyre just starting out, I wouldnt have a problem getting one. But for someone to buy from a guy who has this many complaints about his cues because of the price is kind of dumb. They could find other cue makers with similar prices and would probably end up with a much nicer cue.
I have to agree with Feltmaster this is not Jeff ... Jeff would have a much newer join date then this ... I have heard through a mutual friend that Jeff is back on AZ under a new user name but we can't red rep anyone that mis spells a word or alot of us are in trouble...lol...I have been on the watch for a Eason siting and have not yet recognized one ... I am sure that if he comes back on his work will give him away ...
Jeff can be charming and pass for the nice guy he prides himself on being a great salesman that never takes no for a answer... So it is easy to feel as the op has stated ... And Jeff's back may be pushed to the wall to where he will do right by the the person in the OP...Or at least to the best of his ability ... But it is not what a person does once you put a gun to thier head and make them do right ... It is what a person is willing to do before anything even comes into question that makes you respect someone and tells you what type of character a person has.
I wish you the best of luck if you choose to deal with Eason cues and hope all goes well ... Maybe you are the one in a million who will get lucky ... But Jeff's past record here speaks for itself and will continue to speak for Eason cues for years to come ... Simply put thier are to many quality cue makers out thier putting out quality products at reasonable prices to even take a chance on someone that even has the slightest integrity problem in these hard times where money and work are hard to come by ...I wish you well but you will never convince me to ever have anything to do with Eason or Eason cues again.

There's been a lot of people on AZ who have been trashed and then come back from that. I would name names but I don't want to open an old can of worms. Besides I'm sure all of us can think of a few off the top of our heads.
He knows very well what he's getting himself into so who are we to lecture him on how stupid of a choice it is. Maybe he'll end up a happy Eason Cues customer! Or maybe he'll get f&%$ed like everyone else!

If he gets burned, oh well, big surprise right? What if, and I know this is going to sound crazy, what if Jeff does right by him, he fixes the cue and everything turns out better than new? Will there be any reprieve? Maybe Jeff getting kicked off of here made him wake up and see the error of his ways. Maybe not being able to use AZB has hurt him. Maybe he doesn't want to hear his name destroyed the way it has been and he's going to try hard to mend it.

Do you have any news on how your cue is working out for you?
He still hasn't mailed me my completed cue and he's been sitting on it for over 3 months now. He keeps lying and saying it was mailed, but it could have gone out by pony express or carrier pigeon and gotten here by now!
I just hope things work out for you.
PS......Try not to piss him off before you get your stuff back. He has blocked my emails from going through to him and won't answer the phone when I try and call. So if you stay nice to him until you get your stuff, you stand a better chance of getting it..........maybe.
