I'm planning to check out the 14.1 World Championship next week in NJ. I'll be there Friday and Saturday. I've never been to a tournament like this before, so I'm wondering what to expect.

Anyone have any insight / advice / color? Anything would be appreciated.

For example, does anyone know if the VIP tickets ($60) are much better seats for watching the games than the regular ones ($35).

If the setup is like last year then the regular seats are bleachers while the VIP are chairs with a table in front of you. You'll have a good view regardless. I prefer to sit high in the bleachers when watching to try to get the same perspective I am used to from watching accu-stats.
 
bring a sweater/sweatshirt. no joke. if its anything like last year, a short/long sleeve/polo won't cut it for extended viewing.
