EBay Bans Cross-Border Ivory Sales

This will probably affect resale of ivory pool cues, and the import of pool cues with ivory.

This does not surprise me. I knew it was only a matter of time before the crack-down began. I think it will certainly have an impact on overseas sales of cues to/from the US. Even if the CITES paperwork is up to snuff, it will still restrict import to those countries who already have stringent laws in effect...and I suspect, everyone will be watching closer from here on out.

I'd guess someone cracked down on Ebay then they cracked down on their customers. Won't effect me one bit. Shop local.

Damnit! No more ivory inlays in my hardwoods and tile work and baby furniture.
