how long do you give someone to reply on a cue they purchased, sold one on the 25th and have gotten no response from buyer?

whats their feedback? i seem to notice most people pay right away.. but you get that few that dont.. and it seems that everyone doesnt have access or use a computer everyday.. sometimes it takes 3 days or so.. i would try sending them an email.. what i really hate are the people who send a money order and never tell you that.. a few days go by and you are like.. man. this person isnt going to contact me.. and then bam.. the money order shows up..

7 days, it's posted as a Ebay purchasing and selling rule, after seven days you have to report them to Ebay as a non paying purchased, to release you from your binding agreement with Ebay

the guy has 100% with about 40 or so. just odd, he placed a late bid and won, then nothing? I sold a stick a day and half later and have been paid already? I am pretty sure they guy that got out bid would purchase as a second chance cause he has bought from me in the past and is currently winning another bid. what to do

Yes, but the rules also say that someone is supposed to make contact within 3 days, either the bidder or the seller. I had this happen to me once. Buyer purchased with BIN, and then I could not make contact with them. 3 days went by, and still no contact. I began sending emails. I informed them that if there was a problem or reason for delay to please let me know, so that we could work something out. I then informed them that it also states in the rules that it is their responsibility to make sure that they can get to a computer, such as at the local library, to make contact. Finally, when I still had recieved no contact, I informed them that should they not pay by the 7th day, that I would have no choice but to report them as a deadbeat bidder. On the 7th day, I recieved payment via Paypal. Never a response from this seller, and no feedback either....which was okay with me. It was very weird.

yeah, there are some weird folks out there. Just bugs when you see some one winning the bid that you know is a good buyer then they get out bid and you don't hear anything!

Hello!

This is a holiday weekend so 3 business days either way. I usually allow 3 days only. If they don't come to the table they don't get fed! I try to be curtious in all dealings but Lack patience also sometimes computers act up and famlies and so on and so on .

Yeah, I have been polite with my emails, just sent a third a few minutes ago asking that he please notify me by the end of today either way and if something has come up that he can't not purchase the cue that is understandable and would just like to know...should be good i think...

I was very nice with my emails, practically begging him to please make contact and just let me know if something was up...I am very easy to work with. The guy had a 100% feedback, and to date, I have still never had to report a deadbeat bidder....but I only sell sporadically. It was just a really odd transaction, is all. I'm eBay old school......nice and trustworthy. :)

Get their contact info from Ebay

With the Holiday weekend this might be the problem!? I'd request their contact info from Ebay and get a telephone number and give them a call....just in case their computer crashed or something
