Ebay Scam or Smart Marketing?

Ok, I really don't know how to classify this, scam, ripoff, or a novel way to make some money.

They are going to donate some of the money to a charity, or so they say, but even if they do they are still clearing $550.00 for a stupid picture of a guy flinching.

Of course it all depends if anyone will buy the thing in the first place.

Ripoff certainly. Only a scam if they don't donate the money to charity. I don't really see the point in buying a $550 8x10 photo so that I can donate $1000 to charity. If I wanted to donate that much I think I'd just donate the money directly and spare myself the ownership of that ridiculous picture..
