Ebay to ban sales of ivory goods.

also eBay isn't allowing paper transactions any more either...

everything is being forced through PayPal (or ProPay). They started enforcing this policy yesterday. Starting in Jan, everything must run through their checkout.

I'm really hoping a competitor takes the reigns to pick up all the pieces after the dust clears at eBay

Wow, I've had issues with E-bay for a while, but this is the final straw.

Because of all the scam artists and the sellers who use bots to bump up the price of thier items I've just had enough. E-bay is no longer a good place to get a fair deal.

I wonder if cues will be included?
Certainly not going to help cue sales if they are included in Ebays proposed ban.

In the news article it said this- "EBay said it would still allow the sale of some antique items which contain a small amount of ivory, such as pianos."

- so I would think pool cues would be ok because you are not so much buying ivory as much as you are buying a pool cue.

I purpose AZBay, an auction site related to Az for pool/billiards goods and accessories! With 2 or 3 bad transactions you would be no longer to sell or buy things off the site and maybe have a 5 dollar yearly membership fee just to have upkeep for the site.
