-R- Ebony Hoppe Full Splice No Wrap Coming Soon

How many Ebony Hoppe no wraps, not a conversion, but full splice two piece Ebony Hoppe Titlist cues are out there to be shown???

I'm showing these before shots from Jerry -R- to give fellow AZer's a chance to see a real Ebony Full Splice Hoppe Titlist become a rare no wrap gem. Lots of us have never seen one. I believe this Ebony Hoppe no wrap is going to be an extremely rare item thanks to the AWESOME craftsmanship of JERRY RAUENZAHN. More pics to come when it's in my hands.

I've been trying to find one for a very long time. I have other titlist & 26 1/2 model cues being converted right now, but not an ebony one.

That is the one cue that I truly have to have!

Can't wait to see Jerry's expertise come to life on that one!!

question

Can i ask a stupid question, can I assume that all titlist have a thick enough diameter so that they can be I guess sanded down so that they are wrapless? Or does the diameter for these conversions end up significantly thinner than the "standard" cue measurements?

I am also trying to get my hands on a nice titlist for a conversion and just assumed that you had to put a wrap on or the handle section would have to be replaced with "new" wood.
thanks

You would need to find a 1 piece wrapless cue. Good luck. Heres mine. I cant decide if I want to have a finish put on or leave it sneaky.

Not yet, Jerry -R- said it would be delivered soon. Last week he wanted to put one more cote of finish on and didn't want to rush it. I'll take new pics when it's delivered. I'm getting a bit excited, no actually I can hardly wait!

I think it looks better here Mr John!

Give it to me! Just kidding! Great cue Mr John.
Merry Christmas to you and yours,
Nick:)

"chanting"....PICS PICS PICS!!! LOL, seriously cannot wait to see finished product. Don't forget about us!!

Well,

Here are the after pics thanks to Jerry -R-.

EBONY Titlist no-wrap by Jerry -R- is here.

OK, how many of you have seen or played with a true Brunswick Ebony Titlist let alone no-wrap without all the clutter of added ringwork or inlays??? It's over 0.840" at the forearm joint and Jerry -R- was able to keep the fancy Willie Hoppe signature along with the stamped weight of 22 oz. This cue is a one of a kind, and extremely rare. If anyone else has one without all the clutter please feel free to add it on to this thread.

Jerry's work again is beyond fantastic. It looks much better in your hands than my pictures do. The grain in the ebony is subtle and rich. All white is elephant ivory. It sports a G-10 radial pin so it could get close to my playing weight of 19 0z. The fit and finish show off Jerry's wonderful gifts. I can't tell you how proud I am to know Jerry's work will hold up over time, after all he has 30++ years of experience.

Enjoy my new toy (<:

John

John, that one awesome cue!! I had an original Hoppe that I bought new for $17.95! It was stolen...I loved that cue. I just got a full spliced Josey ebony and put a leather wrap on it and it's the cue I always wanted. I have some very nice cues but the full splice Josey is my favorite! Good luck with your new masterpiece. Jerry did a great job.

Yeah, this has to be one of my all time favorites that Jerry Rauenzahn kept as original as possible, yet he was able to apply modern day technology to make it a REAL player, radial G-10 pin, ivory joint and Hoppe ring, Great shooter!!!

Thank you again Mr. Rauenzahn!!!

John

With everyone trying to find ebony titlists I thought I'd bring this one-of-a-kind player back up to show off its beauty.

Enjoy the "CLOSET QUEEN."

I hem and haw on what to do with my ebony Hoppe Professional. I'm actually shooting with it as-is right now with a ridiculous shaft.

This conversion is very much my style and makes me think I should have it worked on.

Nice cue!
