Ebony & Olivewood wrapless "PROTO TYPE"

Here is a cue I did some experimental things with, most I won't reveil. 1 was the 1in capped ivorine joint-Rare. Tryed a different material for the ringwork, don't like it and won't be using it again. Sorry about the price tag, pretty cheezy I know. Let me know what you think.

I've used IV4 capped for the joint, but find that it's too weighty for most cues without special considerations. My carbide cutters moan everytime I mention IV4. The white on the rings really seem to pop in that cue.
I love the ebony and olivewood together.

I did some special things to this cue for sure. The rings aren't ivorine, it's another material I got to Sample. It chip's too easily, and it was very hard to get the sanding marks out of it vs. micarta. The Guy who gave it to me has scrapped the material and is working on another.

I've been wanting to try ivorine ringwork, Maybe in the next 2-3 years if I get caught up.
