Great price on quality pen blanks, just not a common wood for pen turning. I have seen a batch of turned pens done with that before for an event with I think Dick Cheny way back then. They actually were quite classy.
I sell quite a few high end pens through a few galleries, and on my own, and the wood that sells is more figured. Those would be different though, and nice and rich, more for a businessman type, or pen collector. At that price I might be tempted to buy them just to do a few. I'll think about for a couple days and if you still have them, will probably take them. If you are able to sell them before that, that's great.
A lot of turners do finials in ebony for hollow forms. This a hollow form I finished a couple days ago, and now waiting for the oil finish to cure before doing a second coat, and was going to leave it this way as I didn't have anymore ebony. I'll think about and let you know if it's still available for sale.

Thanks guys...appreciate the info.
I've heard guys talking here about turning pens and found these in a drawer from way back when.
I'll throw back in the drawer if nobody wants them.
