Hello,

I have two cues I need to part ways with in order to help fund another project. My main player is an -R-. I don't play enough to require a second one. This Ebony -R- deserves to be played. It is a player's cue and hits just as well as my Bloodwood -R-... I also don't play enough (or well enough, lol) to require a Gilbert custom jump/break.

Here are pictures of both:

Here is a link to a Photobucket Album of these cues for some additional pics:

Now for the descriptions:

Ebony -R-:
The butt of this cue has a slight roll at the joint. It's not even close to a credit card in thinkness. I couldn't get my camera focused enough to show it on a flat surface.

The butt does have a chip in the finish which is shown in the pictures. The finish also has a few very small bubbles in it around the butt sleeve. They are noticable when viewed up close.

The forearm does have a few dents in it from play. Again, my camera has a hard time picking these up, but you can feel them and see them upon close inspection.

The two shafts have ivory ferrules and the tips are fresh Triangles (these tips have not seen ANY play). One shaft has a slight wobble. It's very slight and the cue rolls nicely, IMO, with either shaft. I can tell you that many on here would market this cue as straight. I'm just trying to be upfront about it. The shafts are nice and dense and the cue honestly has a great hit with great feel and feedback.

Specs:
Butt: 15.4oz
Shaft #1: 3.9oz..12.56mm
Shaft #2: 4.0oz..12.68mm
Ivory ferrules
Lizard wrap

Tulipwood Gilbert J/B:

Tulipwood/Birdseye Maple. 19.8 oz. 13mm (sorry, but I do not have a scale handy to weight the split...

I had a Samsara hard leather break tip installed on this cue earlier this year.

Here is the original sale thread from when I bought it and more/better pics can be seen in this thread:
http://forums.azbilliards.com/showthread.php?t=234806&highlight=gilbert+tulip

Other than the fact that the shaft is a little blue from use I feel this cue is in the same condition as when I purchased it.

Prices:
Ebony -R- = $SOLD (pending payment)
Gilbert J/B = $SOLD

I will consider near offers that are PM'd to me. I feel these prices are fair. I have been brutally honest with the description of the -R- cue's flaws. It's not perfect, but I can tell you that the description is as accurate as I can put it.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

Thanks-

J.

Bump. I've got an old Brunswick case in rough shape I can throw in with this if that helps anyone pull the trigger... Here is a pic:

She's in rough shape. I saved her from a flea market vendor. Older, but I'm sure not worth too much due to condition.

Or I have a black vinyl 2X4 case I can throw in. I think I paid like $50 for it back in the day. In pretty good shape with just some scuffs, etc... on it. It just houses the Ebony -R- and one other cue right now.

Let's see some offers come...

Bump... Folks keep asking me what my absolute bottom line price is. I keep saying $600. I don't think I want to lower it anymore than that. I can always put it back away and decide what to do with the cue later...

So, $600 + I will throw in a case.

If anyone has a low$$$ sneaky pete or something similar to offer plus a decent amount of dollars, then I would be a lot more interested than I would be in a straight up trade.

Or, if someone has a comparible value SS mountain bike to trade me then we can really talk. That is the project I'm trying to get funded...
