Didn't get any takers on these when I posted them here so as much as I hate to do it I just posted these on E-bay. You can search by title or my user id which is msexpress. Thanks for looking.

Regarding that ebony Model 26 1/2, I can see where the ebony points have broken off and stayed with the forearm, but they still appear to be 'all there'. Why couldn't the cue be converted? I would think that a good cuesmith could hide the break lines.

That Zylr is sweet - I bet you get more than what you were asking here.

The cue was examined by Both Ron Haley and John Showman nethier believed that it was suitable. They really didn't state why but I'm guessing the chips in the points and a crack in the buttsleeve. Another cuemaker might have a different opinion or be able and willing to recreate a new butt out of a piece of ebony because the veneers are in really good condition.

The Zylr is an exceptional cue. I think it will do more than I was asking here as well.

A lot of watchers on all of these cues but about 35 so far on the Titlist.

You still might do okay on the Model 26 1/2 - there are people like me out there who restore them as collectibles.

Cue Added

Richard Hsu cue added to the mix. Is a great hitting cue with a really nice simple design. Would make somebody a great first custom cue without breaking the bank. I own this one right so somebody's going to get one hell of a deal. You can also buy my hunting coat and leather jacket if your smaller than me.:D

Help?

Looking for a fellow Azer that knows or would be willing to vouch for the high bidder on my Zyler (CHUN741). I have e-mailed the bidder that is based in Taiwan to answer a few reservations that I have and have not recieved a reply as yet. They don't have a lot of feedback but also the account hasen't been used in almost 2 years. I will cancel the bid if I don't hear something by 6 pm EST.

All other high bidders looking good and tons of watchers about 140 between the 4 cues. I can't believe no one has bid on the HSU the cue would be well over 1k if you ordered it new.

Thanks in advance for any help you may be able to provide.

I feel bad I had to cancel the bid. I never heard back for him and I gave him plenty of time to reply so may the best man win.

Looks like Marty's:eek: got high bid on the Zylr.

So does this mean it will be for sale again in about a week at double the price?
I know he had some South's on ebay for about 6 consecutive listings at unrealistic prices...

On a different note, I think the current price on the Zylr is very reasonable. When I purchased a couple of them a while back, I had to pay $1200 and up. I think Zylr charges pretty close to $700 for just a very plain sneaky pete.

Yes, I thought the $850 he offered it to us for was more than reasonable - great-hitting cue with a long wait for a new one. Plus, this one has the buckhorn collars and 3/8x11 pin. I think his sneakies go for about what you said, and that's with only one shaft - This one has two.

In my opinion, it's Marty's right to do what he's doing (and our right not to buy from him because of it).

What is not right is that Marty refused to sell me a cue I won on eBay threatening me with negative feedback and bad attitude over the phone. We agreed to stay out of each other's way. Just one man's experience with "all$in" ...

What kind of ferrule is on this Zylr cue?

Yeah... of course. :) He can discuss a lot with you about cues.
And he is very nice to deal with too. Tumbs up for Kerry!

Ferrule material appears to be LBM but I wouldn't swear to it. I can say it's not Ivory but do believe they are original to the cue.

I don't know my ferrul materials and how to tell the difference any got any tips on how to tell ? The cue will meet the $800 reserve with the next bid. described. It had met reserve earlier but I cancelled the bid due to non-communication. I truely believe that this is more like a $1200 cue so someone is going to get one hell of a deal. If it is bought by an AZ er I will give you all your money back less shipping and fees if you feel the cue was not as described. Thanks for all your kind words on the cue.
