Player's cue here! Here's a well-used Prewitt Merry Widow.

This cue features a highly figured BEM forearm & buttsleeve. White Elforyn joint. Ed's signature Paua Shell ringwork inlayed into brown phenolics, and there are ringworks in all positions of the cue (A,B,C,D,E). Embossed shark-skin leather wrap. Ed Prewitt's logo engraved into the delrin buttcap.

This cue comes with three shaft, one extra shaft that has black phenolic collars instead.

Butt side(Female-side) JP included only.

Specs of the cue as follow:
Butt: 15.2oz
Shaft 1: 3.8oz (12.45mm)
Shaft 2: 3.7oz (12.02mm)
Shaft 3: 3.9oz (13.10mm)

Shaft 1 has yellow paper-based Micarta ferrule.
Shaft 2 has LBM ferrule.
Shaft 3, the one with black collar, also has LBM ferrule.

Condition:
Butt's in good used condition, a small flaw on the ringwork below the joint. Slight oxidation on the silver rings. (Check the last two pictures for reference)

All three shafts has the seasoned patina blu-ing look.
Shaft 1 has a couple of finish flaws, chips.
Shaft 2 has slight oxidation on the silver rings.
Shaft 3 has some finish flaw, as marked in the picture.

All the flaws are in the last two pictures of this album.

Those not looking to spend $2300-$2850 for a minty Prewitt with new shafts should consider this one. These shafts are well broken in, I could understand the flaws might make you not want this cue, but think of it this way, your spending $1850 for a cue thats well used, broken in with patina so it will performs way better than a new cue. And you could always spend $200-275 by sending it to Proficient Billiards to get a full-refinished. Which takes only 7-10 days.

Just a piece of advice for those who consider buying a Prewitt.
