I’ve always had a thing for figured wooden buttcaps, yet alone this one is from Ed Prewitt!
Right here is a Prewitt in immaculate brand new condition!
This rare beauty here features a nicely figured exotic Ziricote spliced into a highly figured birdseye maple. All four-points are even and super sharp. Paua shell circle and diamond inlaid into the Ziricote points. Ed’s signature Paua shell fancy rings under joint and above buttcap. Figured BEM buttcap.
Loved how Ed engraved his logo into the oval-shaped Elforyn piece on the buttcap.
Elforyn joint. 3/8x10 wood-to-wood joint.
Comes w/ original JPs from Prewitt:
- 1B matching ringwork, top scrimshaw. Logo engraved.
- 2S delrin top-engraved JPs.
Comes with two shafts. Both original shaft from EP, one maple, one carbon fiber.
