Eddie Cohen cues?

Why are so many for sale on this site?
The guy makes great looking cues.
Aren't they keepers?

If I had to guess, I'd say the quality far exceeds the price, and people are trying to flip them for a quick buck... I think a similar situation happened with Robert Harris.

Other than that, maybe people ordered multiples before word really spread, and he has put production into overdrive ahead of the ivory ban... All just speculation.

Cohen Cues

I play at the same room that Eddie plays fairly often. Several regulars play with his cues. I can tell you from personal experience that his cues look A LOT nicer in person than pictures can do them justice. They also play GREAT. His cues have a nice crisp hit to them and move the cue ball effortlessly. Do yourself a favor, get a cue now because his reputation is such that his delivery time and price are only going to go up and up and up.

His cues look great. I'd like to try one but they are way out of my price range.

I've been wondering about his cues as well after seeing the pictures on here. Owners out there, please post experiences on playability and quality...

I'd Get A Cohen Cue If It Wasn't For The CA Ivory Ban

Can't really say how well his cues play but based the photos & cues I've seen in person, workmanship is really good.
If people buy cues and expect to turn a profit with cue-makers like Cohen or my cue-makers, they are living a dream.

The problem is the dream seldom comes into fruition, even with the best designs. Nowadays only esteemed cue-makers
see a rise in value and Eddie isn't one them nor are any of my cue-makers. So people buy these cues for whatever reason
but I collected mine to purely play with. When folks attempt to sell their cues, the real world greets them and suddenly they
learn their cues aren't worth what they paid or what they think the cue's value is & they are disappointed.

That's just how it is with pool cues........buy big if investment is a goal or else buy what you want and take a loss, hopefully
a small one or perhaps maybe break even but expectations of a profit are just unrealistic & the FS Section evidences this.

p.s. 7/1/16, no more ivory cues sold or completed by CA cue-makers so I'm very content with my small collection of custom cues.
