Figured BEM handle, on a Players PureX pool cue. Real, or Fake / Decal / Graphic Overlay?

From what I learned (thanks to Chris, for the really great reply below), this Players PureX cue is nothing but Decal / Graphic Overlays, over Maple.

I still think that the nicely figured BEM handle is real though.

What do you think?

Real, or Fake / Decal / Graphic Overlay?

I feel pretty foolish now, but I originally thought that the stuff innthus cue was real. Thought it had real Rengas Wood, and real points abd veneers, and a real BEM handle, which really caught my attention, on 1st sight.

That's not nice.
Your reddit post is a fn turd too!!

The ozone guy comes across as knowledgeable and patient.

You- who didn't know yesterday- telling him you have the one purex cue that isnt decal...also turd.

Then, you come here shopping for answers. Turdish.

And to be hurted of the butt about it? Diaper's gotta be full, hon.

Why do you think that?

Same reason why CNC cues look perfect. Perfectly even points, perfectly even everything. Would be even easier for Graphic / Decal cues to look perfectly even, right? Or, am I just a fool? I guess I am. These Graphics really fooled me. I am just an idiot, lol. Whatever the case, it seems like a high quality cue. It is very old, and it is still dead straight. They must have done something right.

There is no reason to get so nasty.

That was a pretty sick reply.

I am only trying to learn.

On the Billiards Warehouse site, there is a Graphics series of Players, and then there is the higher end line, called PureX.

By the way, the guy on Reddit was nice, but you are just mean, and really nasty.

How does it feel to be wrong? Both you and Mr Ozone employee were wrong,, lol. I think you owe me an apology, lol. This cue was in fact made with real woods (Rengas, and BEM), real points, and real veneers.

I had a pretty good feeling that I was right about this, and now I have proof, lol.

don’t know much about this proof.
Decal points are still points
It doesn’t say inlays, and this site could be wrong.. but so could we.

Well, I imagine they got the info / description directly from the manufacturer, or distributor. Cue and Case, I assume. The Maple Veneers are real. The Woods are real. Rengas, and BEM. Overall, not a Decal, or Graphic cue.

Can’t really tell nothing from these bad photos.
I doubt that these are veneers, can’t see a seam but then again, can’t tell much from these photos.
There are two methods for points - inlays and splice, if these terms are not used in a cue description then it usually means they want to keep it vague to hide the truth.

And you should know that there decals that look like wood
