I just found another read on Efren Bata Reyes, aka The Magician!
The article was written by Pat Jordan and was first published
in the March 2005 issue of The Atlantic.

It is one great read, friends!
And I kid you not!

Much thanks for looking, everyone!

Link is here, friends!

:)

saw this before

I have seen this a few times before, still a great read though. Efren is an incredibly complex person I believe, appearances are very deceiving!

Am glad you liked it, buddy.

And I really like the way the author described
what he saw at the Derby City Classic, particularly
the shots played and all.

Great article. The picture of Efren on the cover of Billiards Digest sitting with cue in hand at the park ( Portage Park, Irving Pk Rd & Central) was taken in Chicago just blocks away from the Chicago Billiard Cafe. He was playing there daily and it made for exciting times for me, a room regular.

Looks like you passed

I do.

The young lady on the far left with her hand on her chin is none other than Jennifer Longnipple. She really has no interest in pool but because she's a nymphomaniac she loves to watch balls. Just above her is Frannie Finkerbean. She's actually a he. Frannie is a regular at most pool tournaments. He/she says it's because he/she likes to watch the players bend over. The lady in the center is Loraine Afrocomb. Loraine got her hair style idea from watching old videos of Dr. J. Just above Loraine is Thomas Bumasmoke. Thomas was arrested soon after this photo was taken because it was found that he was smuggling ferrets in his anal cavity. The 2 guys in the center are actually Siamese twins Robert and Bob Bendmeover. They are a very rare form of Siamese twins in that that Bob (back) is joined at the cheek with the back of his brother's head. They were separated in the spring of 1992. It's rumored that Bob can now blow smoke rings through the hole in his face. And last but not least, on the right, is Betty Stoneface. Betty was hit by a car as a small child and has since never been able to do anything but purse her lips and stare straight ahead.

MULLY
way too much time on my hands today

Thanks for the info, buddy!
Will include this info under the pic of the post.
