All of us are very lucky to have seen the most remarkable pool player that ever lived.
I got to see him play when he was young shortly after he arrived in the U.S. At that
time it was just a given that best players were from the U.S. He did things differently
than other top players, pumping his right arm, extreme spin, multi rails position and
kicks. You thought what the hell is this. And what a attitude, always seems to be having
a great time playing, always smiling. I heard MEZ say he is the only player I have
ever been in awe of, and I've seen them all. There's Efren and then there everyone else.
