Efren vs Orcullo in money matches???

I've heard everything from Efren wins, to Dennis now beats him to Dennis robs him.

My question is directed to those who say Dennis wins, is he beating Efren for even money or is Efren still giving up weight?

Also, would Dennis be the only person in the last decade or so to take money from Efren playing even?

take money from Efren ..... The Hotel guy, waitresses, bellhops, cab drivers....lol
 
Efren, Dennis, & Ronnie @ Bugsy's

I spent this past Christmas and New Year's in the Philippines. Here's a tip if you can be away from your family go to the Philippines in early December and stay for a month. All the pros come home for the holidays.

I watched Dennis beat Fransisco at Bugsy's 10 ball even for about $1500 bucks. Later in the week I saw Efren play Ronnie in a race to 15 Roatation for 100000 pesos ($1900), even. Efren beat Ronnie handily 15 to 9. A lot of people say that Ronnie is the Rotation king in the Philippines but that night to me anyway, it looked like he was no match for Efren. Efren was soft breaking. Probably because he knows he's the favorite when the balls are jammed up. No balls went past the side pockets on the break. Ronnie is deadly when the table is open. But no one beats Efren, even, and when there are mulitple clusters. I saw him develop solutions all night. It was truely amazing to witness.

I'm pretty sure most of the pros won't give Dennis weight. He is currently the money king in the Philippines. I never saw a matchup with nine ball. They all played 10ball or Rotation because there is more pool involved and it becomes less of a breaking contest.

First week of november I'll be going back with a couple of buddies for Worlds. It should be epic. And I'm not talking about *druing* the tournament! Can't wait.

According to what francisco Bustamante told me a couple of years ago. Luat beat Efren out of 25 large even. I asked him if there was any chance of them doing "business" and Bustamante told me that with the people putting up the money they knew better.............mike

When i went to Virginia for the tournament that brady behrman out on a couple of years ago i went over to Q-Masters at night. One night Leonardo Andam was getting ready to play Corey Duell some rotation and Efren was sitting the with a big smile on his face wanting to take al side bets on Andam. When i asked him why he told me that Andam is one of the best if not the best rotation player in the Philippines and in the race to 3 corey was going to play with andam that corey would not win 2 games.....Andam beat him 3-1.....................mike
