In case anyone is interested, Eklent KaÇi is competing in both the U21 and Men's European Snooker Championships. This is a amateur event, but for those of you who don't follow snooker closely amateur only refers to anyone who is not one of the 128 players on the main tour. The field ranges from pro standard players to players who have never knocked in a 50 break.
If KaÇi wins the Men's division I believe he will get a tour card for next season. The Under 21 event is currently under way at the group stage and KaÇi should get out of his group comfortably since he has a pretty soft draw.
