i am going to try and make this one. This is only about 30 miles from my hometown!

Lewis,
as you know this is one of, if not the oldest remaining old time Pool Hall's left in Arkansas, I've played there several times over the years.

You'll see alot of old friends at this tournament, last year the tournament had a good turn out, players from all over Arkansas showed, a few from East Texas, and several from Louisiana, a larger ADDED Money this year, should make it even better.

A buddy of mine got put out early last year, was in action all day long from several different players, scored pretty good! he said.

i truly wish I could make this one but have previous commitment and simply can't make it. I ws born and raised only about 25-30 miles away.
If anybody knows, is there a Fireman still playing there named Gene Vance? We played some years ago, but he would be about 65 now?
just curious?

Gary Abood knows about it, players from Little Rock,AR. to Monroe,LA., know about it, I talked with Scotty last week, he said he was coming, so your going to have a good tournament, not sure if I can make it, I got lots going on other than just pool, we'll see!
